Relaxation and Visualization—Wednesdays at 5:15 p.m. and Fridays at 12:15 p.m.

The energy of meditation is healing to the spirit, mind, and body. Join in centering breath, visualization, and relaxation.

Dream Workshop—Thursdays, April 3 and May 1, 10 a.m.–12 noon.

Learn to communicate with the unconscious parts of yourself by journaling to collect dreams using symbols, which offer wisdom, strength, and resolutions. Barbara A. Rossman, RN, BSN will be facilitating this interactive group.

Writing for Wellness—Mondays, April 7, 21 and May 5, 19 11:15 a.m.–12:45 p.m.

This group is a very compatible replacement for our "Brown Bag Journaling Group". Based on the book Writing for Wellness—A Prescription for Health by Julie Davey. Participants will have the opportunity to create their own writings that follow a particular theme during each group.

Sound Connections—Tuesdays, April 8 and May 13, 6–8 p.m.

Get in tune with your body and emotions through drumming, toning, humming, singing, songwriting, sound exploration, and more. No musical skill necessary! Presented by Julie Murillo, MT-BC (Music Therapist-Board Certified).

Music and Expressive Arts—Thursdays, April 10, 24 and May 8, 22 10 a.m.–12 noon.

Explore, heal, and express through a variety of expressive arts including music making and listening, imagery, art, and writing. Each class will have a different theme and mediums for expression and connection. Facilitated by Dalena Watson, LPC, FAMI, MT-BC.

Creative Arts in Healing—Fridays, April 18 and May 9 and 23, 10 a.m.–12 noon.

Create your own sculptures with ceramicist Joy Kockerbeck and friends. No previous experience needed. All materials provided.

Bunco –Tuesdays, April 8 and May 13, 12:30–2:30 p.m.

Bunco is a game played with dice and in teams. You do not need to know how to play, you just need to know how to have fun. All supplies and directions will be provided. Bring a friend!

Book Club—Tuesday, May 20, 4–5:30 p.m.

Led by Anne Lackey, M.Ed, LPC, facilitator at TWC, each calendar will provide opportunity for open discussion about the designated book as well as sharing how to improve our own healing and recovery from its message. On-going bimonthly discussion—May’s book is "It's Not About the Bike: My Journey Back to Life" by Lance Armstrong and Sally Jenkins. All are welcome to come even if you were not able to read or finish the book.
