Led by a cancer survivor and experienced TWC-AZ participant, this informal orientation introduces and provides background on our free programs. All welcome.

Professionally-facilitated weekly support groups for people with cancer and a separate group for family, friends and caregivers. Group members experience a caring, uplifting, and supportive community with others. A brief interview is required to determine appropriate group placement. Please call (602) 712-1006.

Individuals with specific cancers meet monthly to support and learn from one another, and to discuss aspects of living with cancer, their diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Open to family and friends.

Group for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered (LGBT) community to support and learn from one another, and discuss aspects of living with cancer, treatment and recovery. Open to family and friends.

This group is for those with a brain tumor as well as friends and family to support and learn from one another. Discuss aspects of living with a brain tumor including treatment, symptom management and survivorship with others. Dinner provided. RSVP.

Care for the Professional Caregiver Support Group
Thursdays, March 22 through April 26, 6-8 p.m.
This six week emotional support group is for professionals working with persons diagnosed with cancer (nurses, social workers, hospice employees, and physicians) to gain support and learn from one another. Explore ways to manage stress, practice self-care and keep yourself open to helping others. Co-sponsored by Hospice of the Valley. RSVP required.
BRCAteers

Support and information for anyone interested and those who have tested positive for the BRCA gene. Facilitated by genetic counselors.
